New Studio!
As I write this post I am sitting in my new space…about 5 times bigger than the space where I wrote my last blog post! Orange Cat Photo has moved to downtown Hickory. For those of you from this area, I am behind the Spainhour’s store and where Ella Blu used to be. This is such an exciting time for me! I have an upstairs loft that has floods of light coming in through the big windows and even a view of the mountains! I plan to make it a natural light studio. I do also plan on continuing to do many sessions on-location. The downstairs will be my work area and a place to visit with potential clients. Of course I will always have coffee on hand, so if you want to just stop by and fika (Swedish for coffee-time and one of my favorite Swedish words!), you are welcome to just come and chat and enjoy my new space with me!
I took a few pictures of the downstairs. Work is still in progress upstairs, so I will get this up another time!

Girl!! Oh my goodness! I had no idea this was in the works. I am just thrilled for you. I want to come up to see your new space asap. Next Friday is my last day working part time, so after that I am a free woman. I hope everything else is going well for you. Hope to see you soon.

Congrats on your new space!!! It looks beautiful. Lauren told me you had an open house sort of thing but she didnt get the message in time to come. I did look for it on Sat night of Octoberfest but did not find. I will stop in to say hello next time I’m downtown. I’m so happy for you!!

I love the logo sign - that’s awesome! It looks nice & bright. We just painted our bathroom nearly the same color - yummy!
