Priestley + Brent

A couple of weeks ago I spent the afternoon in Marion, NC at Lake Tahoma on the “casino”. It is not actually a casino, but was built with the intention of it being a casino in the 1920’s. Now it is a beautiful place to get married.

The wedding day was just perfect! Big puffy clouds in the sky with a backdrop of vibrant blue.

The wedding hadn’t even started and the ring bearer was already tired!

My favorite moment during the entire wedding day is just after they are pronounced husband and wife. There is so much relief and joy and happiness in the couple’s eyes. This was their first moment as husband and wife….so sweet!

I don’t usually like my band shots, but this one really struck me. I like the loneliness of the trumpet player as he plays to a group of people that are busy talking amongst themselves.

I am helping to plan a wedding for next spring. I came aross your beautiful photos and they made me curious about this site in Marion. Do you have any other photos you can share that give an idea of the layout, set up and number of people the Casino can accomadate? If so I would appreciate it. Thanks, Kristen

It is a beautiful location! I would guess that you could have between 150-200 guests, but that is just a guess. Send me an email and maybe I can help you a little more!
