Susan + Erik

Wedding season is definitely here. It is sad to say, but when I have the most to post I don’t have time to post it! But I am going to try to do better than I have the past couple of weeks! There’s lot’s to share, but I thought I would start with some of my associate’s work since I don’t show what she does as often as I should.

This is Erik and Susan. They are absolutely adorable…and Susan you will have to email me where you got that yellow and black dress because it is just too cute! Erik went to App, so it is appropriate that Erica work with them! They ventured all over campus and then showed Erica where they got engaged on the Blue Ridge Parkway. It looks like they had a great time and I can’t wait to see the wedding pictures!

Happy Birthday, Orange Cat!

So yesterday was THE orange cat’s birthday. Chester turned 9 years old and it is hard to believe he is so old! We had a little party for him with all the animals of the house; including a new puppy my mom got this past weekend. The boys (cats) are not too excited about the new addition but puppy thinks Chester is fascinating!

As tradition, we put a Happy Birthday hat on Chester and took his picture…can’t you tell he loves it?

Feel free to leave a comment if you think of a good name for him. If not, he may end up like Cat, our cat that is around 20 years old!

Here’s a few of Cat….

We are not exactly sure how old he is….we have had him so long! But there is a picture of my younger brother holding him full grown and my brother was 5 at the time. He is now 23. His name is Cat because none of us could agree on a name. My grandma used to call him Tom and he went by the name of Killer for a while, but now it is just Cat and I think he likes it.

So like I said, leave a comment with your name suggestions for the dog….otherwise his name could end up as “dog”.

Piedmont Painters

Thursday night is the grand opening of the Piedmont Painters Gallery at Shoppes on the Square in downtown Hickory. Kay Robb is the leader of the group and also a good friend of mine. The gallery is next door to me. So if you need to freshen up those walls with new art, here is the place! The gallery features about 13 local artists. You will find framed art and matted art at all price ranges. Each piece of art is an original and you will find many different mediums; from oil, to pastels, and water colors. Because there are so many different artists, something is sure to appeal to everyone.

Please stop by Thursday night, April 17th, from 5:30-9 pm.

Elizabeth + Nate

I don’t know if I ever laughed so hard while taking pictures! Nate and Elizabeth spent the entire time cracking me up! Nate does a great Will Ferrell impersonation and so does Elizabeth actually!
Thanks to Nicole Riley of Verge Events, it is sure to be a beautiful and personal event! And I can’t wait to see what she has put together for them.
