Amanda + Trae

What a sweet couple! I have only met Amanda recently and so I was excited to meet both of them during their e-session to get to know them a little better before their October wedding. We had such a nice time and the two of them are obviously in love….and I don’t mean one of those couples that are always calling each other little nicknames and so touchy-feely that it’s hard to be around them (remember that Seinfeld episode…pooky?!). They are just genuinely happy to be together. I really enjoyed getting to know the two of you and look forward to your wedding…it is going to be beautiful!

This summer my associate, Erica, has been busy helping me in the office and shooting weddings of her own. She has just done a phenomenal job with her shooting and I couldn’t be happier! I wanted to share some of the work she has done this summer.

Susan and Erik were married in Cornelius and Susan just thought of so many cute details! Here are a few of the pictures:

And this wedding was before the “Sex and the City” movie, and when I saw her blue shoes for the “something blue” I thought she was so clever……apparently Carrie Bradshaw thought so too!

Several weeks ago I had the privilege of documenting Emily and David’s wedding. The wedding day was just perfect! They were married at New Jerusalem Lutheran Church and the reception was held at Rock Barn Golf and Spa. I wish the best to the both of you!

Well, it is already time to get ready for school! It is hard to believe that summer is almost over and it is time to sharpen those pencils and get ready to stuff the brain full of knowledge goodness! Newborns

I have had such a great summer and the surprise has been just how many newborns I have been able to meet and work with! I just love shooting newborn sessions….seeing mom and dad so happy and enjoying a little time away from work to take care of their new little bundle of joy is so nice. I thought I would share a few from a recent newborn session.

This is baby Amelia……

Eli the pug was especially protective of his new house mate. He stayed close and kept an eye on me….what a cute dog!
