Doesn’t she have the best personality?!

I have been friends with her mom for over 7 years, which is incredibly hard for me to believe! It was so good seeing both of you!

Carla + Jim
Posted on October 8, 2008
I have been in Charleston quite a bit this fall and I just love how diverse the backdrop can be despite the fact that I am in the same area. Charleston is just a beautiful location! A couple of weeks ago I was at the Wild Dunes Resort, a perfect place to get married because you can get ready, have the ceremony, party, and then retreat to your room at the end of the night…..all in walking distance. Here are a few shots of Carla and Jim. Carla reminds me so much of my friend Jenni that I just knew I would accidentally call her Jenni at some point!
The beautiful Carla.

Both of them

The rings

The Party……this is actually about the last 10 minutes of the party. They had such a fun last dance! DJ Moo Moo was taking care of the party and he did a fantastic job!

Shannon

A couple of weeks ago I had the pleasure of meeting Shannon. She got married not that long ago. Unfortunately I was already booked and couldn’t shoot her wedding, but we did manage to get together for a bridal session. She came all the way from Baton Rouge, leaving the flood behind her only to be greeted with monsoon weather the day of our shoot! But it worked out and we managed to get some nice shots. It even cleared up enough to go outside for a few.
This home belonged to her grandparents and several generations before that so it meant a lot to her to be able to do the portraits here. This was her grandmother’s sitting room.

She is in veterinarian school and loves animals so we found a horse that was willing to cooperate!

Congratulations, Shannon!
