Katie + Patrick

I started the year off with a wonderful couple, Katie and Patrick. I didn’t get a chance to get to know them as well as I would have liked because I only met them a couple of weeks before the wedding! But the more I heard and learned during the day only made me want to know more. They met in Africa at an orphanage that they were both volunteering with and it didn’t take long to know that they have a very generous and loving spirit. I wish the two of you all the best as you begin your new life together!

Liz + Nate

It has been a long time since I have blogged about a wedding, despite the fact that I have a ton of weddings to share! I thought I would start by sharing the wedding of Liz and Nate. They were married at Lake Eden, which is a wonderful setting for those that want an outdoor wedding with an open view of the mountains. Nicole Riley of Verge Events took care of all of the details and did a fabulous job as usual. For those of you that think a wedding coordinator is a frivolous expense for a wedding I would strongly encourage you to consider it. While everyone was having a great time, Nicole was busy making sure everything went perfectly….including ensuring the bus driver would come back to pick up the remaining guests! And just look how beautifully the details turned out……

Those cupcakes were amazing….it is hard for me to even look at them without having serious cravings!

A Cat and a Hat!

I hope everyone had a wonderful holiday! I was in NYC with my immediate family for both Christmas and New Year’s and we had such a great time. I have been to NYC many times, but I have never seen it as busy as it was over Christmas! As fun as it was, it was also good to be back home and get back to normal life. It was a much needed break from reality and now I am ready for 2009…..especially 3 months from now!
