Asleep…finally!

I think she smells me…I have tried and tried to get sleeping baby pictures of my little Olivia but every time I try to lay her down and grab my camera she wakes up and screams at me! When my profession is getting that exact shot I can’t help but feel somewhat inadequate that I can’t get this shot with my own daughter! Oh well, I guess I should be happy that her favorite spot to sleep is in my arms and NOT on the bed without me!

I did manage to sneak a quick shot of her the other day, however! Finally you can see just how sweet she sleeps.

Thanks to a visit by the in-laws I have a few minutes to blog so I thought I would take advantage of it!

It is isn’t that often that Erica and I get to tag-team a wedding together, but I really enjoy it when we do! These images are from Brian and Laura’s wedding the beginning of March. For a March wedding in Asheville they were very lucky with beautiful weather. We were actually very hot! I am so happy for the two of them…it was such a sweet day and I know that there will be many to come in their marriage!

I thought that I would only share images that Erica took as I do not showcase her work enough!

Isn’t that the prettiest name?! This is my little Olivia’s soon to be BFF…they were born only about 2 weeks apart. Here is just a quick one for today..

I think my daughter will be jealous of her eyelashes…I know I am!

Well last Tuesday Olivia decided to come and without hesitation! One minute I was watching David Letterman and the next minute I was holding her. It was the most amazing experience of my life! She was born on March 24th at 1:13 am (we got to the hospital after midnight!) and weighed 6 lbs, 8 oz and was 20.5 inches long. She is just the most perfect little baby girl.

I am beginning to adjust to the schedule a bit though getting much of anything done is so hard! I would rather just lie with her on my chest and breathe her in! Or if she is awake, I just want to hold her and look at her. I am trying to soak in every moment with her that I can because I know these days are fleeting and before I know it she is going to be talking and walking and too big to cuddle!

I did manage to take a few pictures of her and thought I would share a few.
