Meet Jude. His mom and dad waiting anxiously for him. The room was decorated with lions…but as the days past I suggested maybe turtles would be more appropriate?! He came in his own time and was over a week over his due date. But when he did decide to come he really did come like a roaring lion…fast and furious and then so perfect and gentle. I love this little man and his family. I feel so blessed to be able to document his early history. Here are a few from my day with them…

I am not quite sure how I have let my blog go for so long, but somehow it happened! This wedding season has really kicked my booty and in effort to make sure my brides are happy I have neglected the blog! I have a lot of beautiful weddings to share as well as some super cute kids. Baby Cici came into the world less than two weeks ago and she already has more hair than I had at 2 years old! She is following her sister’s footsteps, but besides the hair I really can’t decide if she looks like big sister or not. I do know that she endured the entire session without one single cry! And she was very curious and had to be awake for the whole thing as to not miss anything! She is beautiful! Congrats to the family!

What to say about little Wyatt?? Probably the best baby that has been in the studio! He smiled and had the best time while we changed him, got him to sleep, woke him back up, etc, etc. What a patience and easy mannered little man! He was a dream…possibly modeling future?!?!

Newborn sessions are so special. For an instant you have this tiny infant that can only eat, sleep, and cry and before you know it they are waving their hands, smiling, and cooing. I really enjoy taking newborn portraits and especially when I can include images of that special bond with mom and dad. Here’s just two today…

The triplets are here! I was so excited when I heard that Elizabeth was having triplets. I have been photographing her children since before the oldest was even born! Now they are more than blessed with 5 under 4….yes, you read that correctly..5 under 4! I am pretty sure Marty {dad} breathed a huge sigh of relief when the first baby to say hello was a boy. They are going to have to stick together…it’s 5 against 2!

Here’s all of them…a little nervous about letting a 20 month old hold a newborn, but she was a natural!

And probably the only way three State hats are cute. And pretty darn cute they are!

Happy New Year to all of you! I thought it only appropriate to have a New Year’s blog post featuring a tiny newborn. What a sweet little girl..she was only 5 ounces bigger than my little girl when she was born and it’s hard to believe how quickly I have forgotten. She was very patient with us as we moved her and dressed and redressed her. Enjoy just a few for now!
