A few from Halloween

So luckily we celebrated Halloween a little early on the Hickory Square on Friday. They hosted their annual candy crawl so I met my friend Meredith and we walked around and collected candy for the dads! Meredith’s little boy is Olivia’s “boyfriend” so we had to do a little photo shoot of the two of them….so cute!

This little one is such a funny girl! She has the best personality. We had such a great time doing this session at a pumpkin patch and even though she is not quite walking or standing herself, we were able to get her to pull up on the huge pumpkins and even distracted her enough to stand without realizing it! I love these pictures..almost as much as I love this little girl!

I know it looks like all I do these days is take pictures of my baby, and okay, I am probably guilty of doing a lot of that but it is not ALL I do! But I do have more pics to share of her. A lot of you probably don’t realize it but I use this blog for her grandparents in Sweden to watch her grow….so it is not just because I sit around and just take pictures of her! I also have lot’s to share including a gorgeous Biltmore wedding and some bridals that I can soon finally release!

hands and feet

I snapped this shot while my father-in-law was holding Olivia. I think it is such a beautiful image…I love the contrast of her “far far’s” gruff hands and the soft barely used feet of my baby. Such a sweet image that says so much about the both of them without showing much at all.

Kaitlyn is ONE!

I have been following little Kaitlyn since before she was even born. Now she is one and it is time to celebrate! Mommy saved a smash cake for her and everything….check it out.
Mom is probably going to kill me for this one but I just couldn’t resist!
He is my buddy! He even knew that I was having a girl before we knew….I think kids have a sixth sense about those kind of things!
What a sweetie!
And finally she gets to dig into that cake! She was actually very hesitant about it at first, but soon realized there were no rules for eating this cake!

Look what I can do!

Yesterday I peeked in on O while she was napping to see her doing this……
I think I actually told her to stop! It was such a shock to see her pushing her head up like that….I mean all the books say it is time for her to be doing this and even rolling over, but the books don’t tell you how to be ready for it! It is so exciting to watch her grow, but I just don’t think I can soak it all up fast enough. I am trying though!
And doesn’t this smile just make your heart melt….I mean really, is there anything sweeter?!

Old friends

I have known Tammy since the first day of freshman orientation. Our last names were the same so we were grouped together. Then we realized we were going to live on the same hall. The friendship grew from there and after 13 years (wow!) we are still friends. It is always great to see Tammy and her hubby and now their little one so when they said they would be driving through Hickory the other day I jumped at the chance to have them over. Of course I had to get some shots of their cutie, who is almost 1 already!
It was great to see the three of you and hope we can get together again soon!
