Caroline and Adam are getting married this year and we somehow managed to squeeze in an engagement session in the middle of this high school coach’s busy busy schedule! These two are so much fun and we had such a good chat while shooting…can’t wait for the wedding!

Bria and Eric are quite possibly one of the cutest couples I have met! We met in Hickory for an engagement session before their October wedding. It was such a perfect day, well, uh, except for the ripped dress! Dresses and climbing trees are apparently a bad combination! Anyway, here are a few from our afternoon. Best wishes to both of you!

I am so excited for Angela and Pete’s fall wedding in Asheville at The Crest Center! But first we had to meet in Charlotte to get some urban engagement sessions. They live in Charlotte, but have chosen Asheville as the backdrop for their wedding….the view from the Crest Center is breathtaking! Here’s a few from our very windy session!

About 4 years ago, I photographed a wedding for Jona and Hunt. Now 4 years later, Hunt’s sister is getting married and I am thrilled to have been chosen to be a part of her special day as well! We met in Durham at the reception site for a few engagement photos and of course had to include the babies…it was a beautiful {though windy} day! And the Heels won their game later that night,which made it that much better! Looking forward to May!

Erica recently braved the frigid temperatures and drove up the mountain to shoot a very wintry e-session. Hallie and Matt got bundled up and just had a fun time in the snow…they met at Appalachian State so seemed appropriate to have such a beautiful snowy landscape for their portraits.

I am so excited for my friends Brian and Allie. They have committed to working overseas as missionary next year and are getting ready for their big adventure. They needed pictures for their prayer cards and I was more than happy to help! We met in downtown Durham and as much as I hate Duke, the town is really up and coming and has lot’s to work with….can’t wait to shoot there again! Please pray for the two of them as they prepare both physically and mentally for this calling. They are both so inspiring and have such a passion for the people they are called to work with. I have known Addison for a while now and I am so happy to see him in love! He has found such a fun, warm lady and they just couldn’t be cuter together. Congrats, you two!

What a beautiful day we had for this fun e-session! These two are so much fun…Joey can not be taken serious for one minute though! He swears he is sky diving down onto Childress Vineyards, their reception site, on the day of the wedding. Well, make sure you text me before you land! Lindsay and Joey, can’t wait for the wedding; I know it will be beautiful!

LOVE the boots!

I LOVE this time of year! It is the perfect weather for going up to the Blowing Rock parkway. That’s what Angela, Derek and I decided to do for their engagement pictures. We had such a good time and I think I made Angela work harder than her heels could take! (Hope your feet recovered!) We were able to capture some really beautiful images to celebrate their engagement. Can’t wait for the wedding next year!

Well I don’t know what more to say about this couple but ask, “Can they get any cuter?!” This is an e-session that Erica did for her couple that’s getting married next spring. I was immediately in love with these pictures (and her hair!). TOO TOO cute! I can’t wait to see the wedding pictures!
