Little Red
Posted on June 26, 2008
Well, if mom used to be known as “Big Red”, then shouldn’t her son be known as “Little Red”?! Especially if his hair is redder and even brighter than moms! I was in Raleigh last week meeting little red and just had the best time as he showed me his books, his rocks, his grandparents yard…etc. I think he really loves his home and was so anxious to share it with me!
I thought that instead of showing multiple pictures from the session, I would show you a newly designed storyboard. These are so much fun and go perfectly in a child’s room!

Swedish Babies Part II
Posted on January 2, 2008
The next Swedish baby that I have had the chance to meet was also just a bump in a belly last time I was here. My sister-in-law had her second boy soon after we left last year and we have been so excited to finally get to meet him.
He is such a calm and observant baby. He just looks around and takes everything in. Here are a few images of him and his mom and big brother.

This little guy will walk before he ever crawls. He has absolutely no interest in crawling and loves to walk around!

Here are couple with big brother Linus. And when I say big, I mean a seven year old that is almost as tall as me! (okay, so maybe that is not saying much!)

These two just make me laugh!

This image makes me smile.

Swedish babies Part I

This week I met a baby that was just a bulge in a belly last time I was here. It is so exciting to get to meet your friends’ children for the first time and try to figure out who she takes after and who she looks like. Well little Alice looks like her mom sometimes and then her dad sometimes…so it is really hard to decide. I guess all in all she is Alice; playful, happy, curious, and very out-going. Here are a few pictures of her with her mamma and pappa, like they say in Sweden.

I think she was a little hungry while we were taking pictures.

She smiles with her whole face! She is so sweet!

I love this look she is giving dad. She is really taking in everything he is saying!

Until next time!

www.etsy.com
I love this website! It is a collaboration of literally thousands of artists and crafty people. There are all kinds of arts and crafts to choose from and finding the perfect gift is simple. There is a featured artist page, a page to search for something by color or region, and a gift buying guide. I hate going to malls and fighting crowds and I love to support artists pursuing there passion so this is the perfect site for my Christmas shopping. And if you are leary of buying from a complete stranger, every artist’s page has a rating to let you know how pleased other customers have been with them.
Last week I had the pleasure of spending the afternoon with baby Graham and his mommy and daddy. His dad is a fellow Tar Heel, so it is always fun to talk sports with him. (At least now that basketball season has kicked off!) Graham is just the happiest, easy-going baby anyone could ever dream of having and we had so much fun! Here are a few shots.

The Big 3-0!
Posted on November 26, 2007
Today my husband celebrates his 30th birthday, so happy birthday…or should I say grattis på födelsedagen!
I am so proud of him! For those of you that know him, know he is talented at everything (which can get a little annoying sometimes!) from cross-country skiing, to building furniture…he can even bake bread!
Marrying him has been the best decision of my life and I could not be happier!
I love you!
Here is the most recent self-portrait of us.

Christmas Cards and Deadlines
Posted on November 20, 2007
Many of you have been asking about the Christmas card designs for this year and I have been a little late getting them up this year!
A few things to think about:
You can tell me text to go into the inside of the card to save you time!
All cards come with envelopes.
You can choose to not have a template and have the picture extend to the edges to fill the card.
All cards are 5×7 except the first example which is 5×5.
These cards fit perfectly in a frame!
Prices:
Set of 50: $125
every set of 25 after 50: $50 (I can only order them in sets of 25)
And here are the samples…..

The deadline for the cards is November 27th.
I will be going out of the country to visit family in Sweden from DEC. 16th until JAN 13th. This means that all deadlines are firm.
Christmas orders other than cards must be ordered by DEC 3rd. Anything ordered after Dec 3rd may not be delivered until my return in January, so please don’t procrastinate!

The Collins Family
Posted on November 8, 2007
Last week I met the Collins Family at their beautiful home in Charlotte. It was their first time doing family pictures since their new baby girl was born so I was honored to be the one to document the moments! We had fun, but little M was not so sure of me and my big camera! Here are a few images:
She is already a daddy’s girl.

As sweet moment of them just being them.

She didn’t want to smile, but she loved sticking her tongue out at me!

I love this family portrait.

How do you say no….
Posted on November 1, 2007
to this face?!

Seriously….I don’t know how mom does it! I had the pleasure of hanging out in the woods of Rock Barn the other day with the Auten boys. We had a session last year about this time and they have grown so much and look so different! You would think taking pictures of three boys would be challenging, but they are the sweetest boys! It really wasn’t hard to get them to stand together…and….dare I say?…..HUG! Big brother opened his arms wide and the two younger snuggled in real close. They are really are as sweet as they look in the pictures!
Here are a few more:

See you next year at the crooked tree!
