Well I have known this little one since he was born and it is so fun to watch him grow. He is quite the little runner too. Despite the 90 degree heat, he ran most of the session. What a fun kid!
Here’s a few from the day.

So I have already learned this lesson, but quickly forgot. When using balloons with little ones you need to tie them to their arms or this may be the only shot you get!

Sisters

I have been taking pictures of these girls since they were born. I love seeing them grow right in front of my eyes! The youngest is just a little bit younger than my Olivia, so it is nice to exchange notes with their mommy. {and realize that mine is not the only one that bucks her legs back and forth when she doesn’t get her way!}
We met at a carousel for these so they had a lot of fun for this session!

Found this image while going through some recent sessions and just think it is so sweet. From the chubby little baby hands to the way she is holding the flower..I don’t know, it just struck me. These little baby hands will grow too fast and it’s details like this that make life so sweet! So hang on to those moments, mom and dad!

Do you think spring is actually on it’s way? Well we are ready for it! I wanted to share some pics of this cute little girl. It was a little chilly, but she braved the cool air and was such a good sport! These are some early Easter pictures…yes, Easter! It will be here soon and appointments are filling up fast! Train!

Well it is not my intention to completely terrify a child during a session, but I think I kind of did during this session with “j”. His mom requested we do pics on railroad tracks so I suggested a location where I knew an engine usually sits. We got luckier than we had bargained for! Not only is there an engine sitting there…but the whole train! It was excited to see it sitting there, but when it started moving and blowing the whistle, even the two of us adults were intimidated by all of the power and just overall size of this powerful train. He calmed down after just a few minutes and we were able to get some fun shots on the tracks and around the area. Thanks for a fun morning, j, and for being so brave!

Well, we photogs need pictures of our family too so when Jenn of Tom Wood Photography proposed a portrait swap I was more than happy! We picked a beautiful Sunday afternoon to get together. I just love their family…such sweet and fun girls!

Well Luke and Morgan are just growing TOO fast! It almost brought me to tears to edit these pictures. I have known them since they were born and what sweet babies they were! They are not babies anymore and they are SO much fun! Here’s a few.
