Thursday night downtown Hickory will be sponsoring an Art Crawl in Union Square. My next door neighbor and extremely talented oil painter, Kay Robb will be painting from a live model in the common area of my building. There will also be a book signing at Sally and Company, another neighbor of mine. Richard Russell will be signing the book “My dear Father and Mother…The Personal Letters of Livingston N. Clinard”, which illustrates a glimpse of life in Hickory in the late 1800′s. You can find more information on the downtown Hickory website.
I will be opening my doors for anyone that would like to come and have a glass of wine and chat. There are many of you that haven’t seen my studio yet, so please stop by and say hello!
The Art Crawl lasts from 5:30-9. Hope to see you!
And because I always have a picture with a post, I will leave with one from this weekend. This is from a bridal that I am so excited to share with you, but can’t just yet! We had so much fun…and I think a lot of passers-by did as well!
