Anneliese and Schalk live in South Africa but Anneliese is from North Carolina and decided to come home to get married. What an eclectic group of guests..from all over! From Australia, South Africa, Honduras, Florida, New York and D.C. their friends gathered to celebrate these two for the beginning of their new life together. What a treat it was to speak with so many from different parts of the world and to hear the many foreign languages throughout the room.
They were married at Homewood and it never disappoints. It’s beautiful structure resembles a castle and boasts views of the mountains. It is especially gorgeous in the fall as most of Asheville brightens with bursts of yellows, golds, and reds. I absolutely love Asheville weddings in the fall!

First looks are always so special. It’s a laid back time where the two can take each other in and take a moment to prepare for the day. I highly recommend considering this for your wedding! We met at the Botanical Garden in Asheville.

So much happiness during the ceremony. Loved the pure and genuine emotion from these two. The ceremony set up was outside of Homewood and it was the perfect day for an outside wedding!
